ELKHART – John Joseph Herczeg of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Riverside Village Nursing Home in Elkhart. He was born on October 4, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana to Joseph and Viola (Tomandli) Herczeg.

John is survived by his wife, Cari A. Herczeg, two children, Ashley DeSouza of Waukesha, WI, and John Herczeg Jr. of Elkhart and his two grandchildren, Nicholas Sebastian DeSouza and Mason James DeSouza. He is also survived by his sister Linda Muroski of Lakeville.

John was previously employed at Carleton and then at Mossberg & Company where he worked in Printing and Bindery.

Elkhart Cremation Services have been entrusted with his care.
