John Ross Tilly Somsel Broyles

John Ross Tilly Somsel Broyles (formerly John Ross Watson) died on Monday, October 21, 2024 in Elkhart, Indiana. He was 58 years old.

John was a 1984 graduate of Elkhart High School, and a 1988 graduate of DePauw University. John became the family historian and was the link that tethered the family to our memories and our past. John was also an avid collector of toys, dolls, jewelry, boots, etc. He later developed a successful internet marketing business selling his “excess treasures.”

John is survived by his mother, Sharrie K. Watson of Elkhart; eight 1st cousins; and many 2nd cousins. Preceding John in death was his father, Robert “Bob” Watson.

The family would like to thank John’s friends and neighbors for the help and support they have provided him over the years.

No services will be held at this time. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
