JOHNNY RICHARD LAMB

August 14, 1949 – October 22, 2023

SHIPSHEWANA- Johnny R. Lamb, 74, of Shipshewana, Indiana, passed away Sunday October 22, 2023, at Goshen Hospital. He was born August 14, 1949, in Earle, Arkansas to Jesse & Loitta Virginia (Minton) Lamb.

On June 27, 1978, in Shipshewana, Indiana he married Patricia “Patty” A. Persing. Surviving are 3 children, Shaun (Alyse) Lamb of Shipshewana, IN, Sheena A. (Josh) Huff of Bristol, IN, Kevin Lamb of Mountainview, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and a brother, Jackie Lamb of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; a daughter-in-law and 5 siblings.

Johnny was formerly employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV, collecting coins, fixing lawnmowers and talking about politics.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care. Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Hospice.
