ELKHART-Joseph “Joe” M. Brown, 66, passed away May 18, 2021 at his home in Elkhart. He was born July 8, 1954 in Mishawaka, IN.
He married Roxie (Hershberger) Bellows on May 6, 2000; they were together for a total of 34 years. She survives along with 2 children, Dawn Arnold, Vanessa (Chris) Miller, 7 grandchildren, Evan, Lucas, Nikki, Jamason, Chelsea, Samantha and Dalton. Also surviving are 2 great-grandchildren, Lily and Sauer and 1 sister, Gaynell Shirley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Brown, Hazel (Lanier) King, 1 son, John Brown, 2 siblings, Patricia and James.
Joe was a member of Anglers of Indiana, loved fishing, hunting, watching football and NASCAR.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
