Joshua Don Young

Elkhart, Indiana – Joshua Don Young, 44, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1981, to Terry Young and Pamela Millsap Parnell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Jennie Young, of the home; his grandson and best friend, Riley Cassell; his stepdaughter, Amber Cassell; his son, Colton Young of Kentucky; and his sisters, Anna Hilliker (Brett) of Elkhart, IN, Melissa Miller (Chris Harding) of Bassett, VA, and Chandesa Church (Danny) of Peru, IN. He is also survived by his niece, Suzanna Paquette of Elkhart, IN, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins in Missouri and Arkansas.

Joshua will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, and love for his family. He especially cherished the time spent with his grandson, Riley, who was his pride and joy.

Joshua will continue to give the gift of life to others through his decision to be an organ donor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the home of Anna and Brett Hilliker.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
