Joyce Michael Obituary

Joyce Delane Michael, 67, of Wakarusa, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at The Waters of Wakarusa. She was born on April 11, 1956, in Monticello, Kentucky, to Cohen and Susie (Smock) Sloan.

Joyce married Roy Michael in November of 1986, and he preceded her in death in August of 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her domestic partner, Cecil Otto. Surviving are three children, Sharon M. Mast of Elkhart, IN; Randy Stephens of Evansville, IN; and Michael Stephens of North Port, FL; and six grandchildren.

Joyce was a housewife who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and gardening.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
