Judy Annette Glassburn

Judy A. Glassburn, age 80, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 27th, 2025.

She was born on April 24, 1945, to the late William and Ruby Russell. Judy married the love of her life, Lonnie Glassburn, and together they shared 63 years of marriage filled with love and devotion.

Judy was a woman who cherished life’s simple joys. She loved traveling, relaxing on her front porch, sharing Jesus with all of her family and friends and creating her well-known scrubbies that she lovingly shared with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Glassburn; her son, Donald (Lisa) Glassburn; her son in law, David Sharp, her brother, Jimmie Russell; grandchildren, Thomas (Katelynn) Glassburn, Jordan Glassburn, Dusty Sharp, and Mackenzie (Jeremiah) McGee; and one great-grandson, Graham McGee aka Moochie. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Russell; her daughter, Julie Sharp; two sisters; and three brothers.

One of her favorite scriptures was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
