Judy A. (Martin) Monk

Judy A. (Martin) Monk, 76, of Auburn, Indiana and formerly of Elkhart, IN, passed away Saturday June 15, 2024, at TrueCare in Auburn, Indiana.  She was born September 12, 1947, in Elkhart, Indiana to Howard & Henrietta (Quant) Martin.

She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1966.  Judy worked at W T Armstrong-UMI-Conn Selmer from Oct. 1971 – Oct. 2019 and retired with 48 years of service.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkhart for 40 years and served as president of the Berean Women’s Class for 25 years.  She was a member of Lakewood Park Baptist Church after moving to Auburn in 2019.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Dawn (Jeff) Yoder of Elkhart, IN & Jeannie (Dave) Johnson of Auburn, IN; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Yoder of Elkhart, IN, Kayla (Michael) Baker of Goshen, IN, Mitchell (Carmelina)Yoder of Goshen, IN, David Jr (Cady) Johnson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Andrew (Hailey) Johnson of Wilson, WY, Sara (Dylan) Tatman of Ft. Wayne, IN; 13 great-grandchildren, Aden, Bayli & Carsen Yoder, Bentlee & Camden Baker, Aubrey Yoder, Jaida, Kinsey, Leeland, Nevaeh & Beckham Johnson, Rhett Tatman and August Johnson. Also surviving is her sister, Sonie Vargo of Elkhart, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter-in-law Kylah Yoder.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2024, at Rice Cemetery. Jeff Geshay will render the service. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.

Memorial contributions may be given to any Hospice or to Riley Children’s Hospital.
