Karen Lynn Ridley

Karen Lynn Ridley, age 65, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on May 3, 2025 at Eastlake Nursing Center after a sudden illness.

Karen was born on August 2, 1959 in Circleville, Ohio to Samuel and Nada Ridley. She grew up in Circleville, Ohio, and later moved to Nappanee, Indiana, where she raised her family.

Karen enjoyed her days with her two dogs Luna and Maggie watching true crime and ghost stories on YouTube. She was witty, strong, and confident in who she was. She lived a simple life: she was content and thankful for what she had. Karen loved her family and her dogs. She was a very proud mom, mamaw, and great-mamaw. She felt so blessed being able to see and enjoy so many grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by three children: Traci (Jeff) Parcell, Elkhart, IN; Brad Wilkins (Jessica Rico), Niles, MI; Josh White (Shyann Nichelson), Elkhart, IN; two bonus daughters Elizabeth (Scott) Campbell, Berne, IN and Jessica (Jeremy) Stemm, Mishawaka, IN; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister Sheila (Don) Ferguson, Bristol, IN; brothers Samuel Rick (Rhonda) Ridley, Pineville, KY and Gary (Denise) Ridley, Asheville, OH; 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Samuel and Nada Ridley, brother William Ridley, and sister Pamela Vanover.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held on June 7, 2025, from 12pm-3pm, at 23288 State Line Road, Elkhart. 

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
