Karen S. Ward

ELKHART-Karen S. Ward, 79, passed away April 18, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born December 19, 1946, in Goshen to Lawrence & Carrie (Nisley) Musselman.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Edward Tredway, Lonnie Ward, and a sister, Christena Wixson.

  Surviving are 2 children, Dawn Dull, Wesley (Amy) Rhoda, 3 stepchildren, Bradley (Karen) Ward, Jennifer Ward, Jonathon (Amy) Ward,13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is a sister, Connie Tredway and numerous other family members.  Karen enjoyed doing puzzles, watching birds, crocheting, and most of all spending time with her family.   She was an amazing woman that was always present physically and emotionally with her family.

  Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be memorial service Thursday, April 23, 2026 at California Road Missionary Church at 11 a.m. with a visitation an hour prior to the service.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
