Katherine Rosalie Belmont

Katherine Rosalie Schweitzer Belmont passed away in her home in Mishawaka, IN,  surrounded by her Family.  Katherine was born 5/29/1950 and passed on 9/11/2023.  She left behind an older  sister, Nancy from LongBeach, CA, a Brother and sister-in-law Bill & Susie Schweitzer of Medford, OR,  another brother, Art Schweitzer of Medford, OR, and a sister-in-law, Yvonne from AZ.  She also left 6 daughters: Emily & son-in-law Eddie  from Mishawaka, IN , Daughter  Samantha Taylor & Shawn from South Bend, IN, a daughter Diane Elgrini from FL, a son David also from FL, a son, Dennis from VA, a son James & daughter-in-law Chelsee from SC, a son Ricky from CA, a daughter, Cece from CA, a daughter Destiny from AZ and a daughter Natalie from CA.  She is survived also by 27 grandkids: BJ, Stephanie, Amearah, Vanessa, Sarah, Alex, Jacob, Hannah, Max,  Domenic, Tess,  Matthew, Haze, Marcus, Lil Em, Ben, Evan, Amina, Josh, Dylan, Honor, Eli,  CJ Faye, Brookie, Everleigh, Santiago,  Nathan and Matthew, and Noah. 1 great granddaughter, Liliana and over 100 Bonus kids thru her Foster Care years.   Katherine is back with her Mom and Dad, Rene & Emily, brother Michael, granddaughter Alyssa and 1 more Grandchild.

Kathy loved loving kids, she spent 50% of her life doing fostercare and all of her life being our Mom and an Amazing Nana to our kids.  She is deeply loved and missed so much.  Life is not the same without her.  We pray that Heaven is always Autumn time for her and she is enjoying her reuniting with Family and will watch over us forever.  I love you, Mom!
