God took Kathleen J. Brooks home on Sunday, November 5th, 2023. Kathleen was born on March 19th, 1951 in South Bend, IN to Maxine and Casimer Hartwick. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, and late husband, George Brooks. Kathleen left behind a son, Cory Fortson, three step daughters, Michelle, Becky, and Kristy, and a brother, Bruce. Kathleen had a passion for helping people and had a long career in the automobile industry and retail. She was an avid Notre Dame fan. Kathleen was a loved mother, wife, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by many.
