Kathy Lynn (White) Allen age 67 passed peacefully Friday May 1st, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital
Kathy was born March 24th, 1959, to Ervin White and Jennie Lee White (Haven) in Elkhart General Hospital Elkhart, IN
Kathy was a kind, loving, and generous soul who enjoyed sports, disco, and roller-skating as a teen. She had a love for music, loved the holidays, her favorite season was the fall. She was working at Siemens Healthineers and had been there 14yrs and loved her coworkers. She previously worked at Bayer for 10yrs. She used to love to karaoke in front of the mirror and try on wigs for fun. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren (who were her whole world) and all her family and friends. She was a strong woman of faith and a true believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Kathy is preceded in death by her stepfather Willie F. Dotson of Elkhart, IN her Mother Jennie Lee White (Haven) of Elkhart, IN her Father Ervin White of Elkhart, IN and her brother Alan (Wife Carolle) White of Grand Rapids, MI
Kathy is survived by her Brother Keith White and Shannon Gage (Sister in law) of Elkhart, IN her Sons Shane Ivens of Elkhart, IN, her Son Michael (Wife Brandy) Ivens of Elkhart, IN, her Grandchildren Alycia Allen of Elkhart, IN, Nia Ivens of Elkhart, IN, Brooklyn Nelson of South Bend, IN, Liam Ivens of Elkhart, IN, and Aria Ivens of Elkhart, IN, her Niece Tabitha Hanshaw (White) of Stroh, IN, Tony (Wife Kristina) Smith of Mishawaka, IN, Amber White (Smith) of Elkhart, IN, Brian White of Elkhart, IN, Tommy (Wife Sheila) Fulford of White Pigeon MI, Lindsay Campbell (Fulford) of Walhalla, SC, and a host of other great nieces, nephews, and cousins. "Kathy was a mother of two, but a mom to many people in her life" She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Kathy requested there be no service, so the family is honoring her wishes.
