Kayla Mae Richey

Elkhart – Kayla Mae Richey, 29, of Elkhart died suddenly on November 10, 2021. She was born on January 19, 1992, in South Bend, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Richey, her grandfather, JL, and her grandfather Laverne Werner who she called “Pa”.

Surviving are her husband, Jared Celichowski, and their three children, Colby, Bruce, and Autumn. Also surviving is her mother, Shannon Richey, brother William “Billy”, Grandmother Phyllis, grandmother, Mae, her aunts, Madonna, and Kelly. Along with her uncles, Aaron, Greg and Kevin, and her cousin, James McKelvey. Also, surviving are her in-laws, Carlos, and Carmen Sanchez.

She played Volleyball and loved to draw and spend time amongst the arts and the outdoors. She was a wonderful mother and adored her children.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 22nd, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. at the South Bend Riverwalk across from Brown Intermediate center. There will be a balloon release and all family and friends are welcome to attend.
