Kenneth L. Cooper

Kenneth L. Cooper, 87, passed away September 17, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born June 23, 1935 in Jacksonville, IL to Harold & Georgia (Foelsch) Cooper.

  He married Gerolene Cooper in St. Louis, MO and together they had 7 children.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gerolene, 2 children, Randy Cooper, Judith Cooper, and 2 brothers.

  Surviving are 5 children, Ron (Lynda) Cooper, Don (Mary) Cooper, Susan (Joey) Campanello, Penny (Chuck) Warfel, and Tami (Gordie) Sherven, 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

  Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran and a 3rd generation lifelong member or the Salvation Army Church.  He enjoyed reading and watching history movies in his spare time. 

  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elkhart Salvation Army on October 8, 2022 -  Vistation from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with Services to follow.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart Salvation Army, 300 N. Main Street Elkhart, IN 46515.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
