Kevin Jay Leitch, Sr

Kevin Jay Leitch Sr., 69, of Elhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 5th, 2025. He was born June 7th, 1956, in Kendallville, Indiana to E. Dwayne and Rosetta Mae (Musselman) Leitch. He was proceeded in death by his parents and older brother, Gerald Leitch. Surviving is his wife, Janet Sue (Durst) Leitch, his 2 children, Kevin Jr. and Jamie Leitch, and Dawn (Leitch) and Matthew James, his 3 bothers, James Sr. and Linda Leitch, Michael Leitch, and David and Carla Leitch, and his 2 sisters, Mary (Leitch) and Sam Misseri and Janie (Leitch) and Randy Farmer, and his 7 grandchildren, Ashton Leitch, Kaiden Leitch, Paige James, Joshua James, Carter Pompey, Ethan Pompey, and Kadyn Stahlhood. He graduated from Fostoria High School in Fostoria, Ohio. He spent many years in aluminum extrusion and retired from Patrick Metals. In his free time Kevin enjoyed landscaping, playing pool, and spending time with family. There will not be a public service, but a small celebration of life for family and friends at a later date and cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
