Korena Sue Carlisle

Korena Sue (Biddle) Carlisle, 61, of Elkhart, Indiana passed on August 7th, 2025, surrounded by her family after an extended illness.

She was born in Elkhart, Indiana in October,1963 at Elkhart General Hospital. A life-long resident of Elkhart, Korena attended Elkhart schools before graduating from Elkhart Central High School in 1981. She enjoyed a career in retail. She loved her family and being a grandmother. She also enjoyed coloring, food (watching Food Network), shopping at dollar tree, thrifting for good deals at Goodwill, and watching television with her Aunt Annie.

Korena was preceded in death by her brother, Brent Biddle; her uncle, Bud Biddle; and her long-time companion, James Turner. She is survived by her mother, Janet Biddle; her aunt, Marian R Biddle; remaining siblings, Guy (Sarah) Biddle, Kate Smith, and Kathy Butterworth; her three children, Joshua Carlisle, Jeremy (Nicole) Carlisle, and Samantha Carlisle, and her six grandchildren.

A celebration of life is to be held on Saturday August 23rd at a private location.
