L. JoAnn Siade

L. JoAnn Siade, 90, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at her residence at Elkhart Meadows in Elkhart, IN. She was born on October 26, 1933, in Plymouth, IN, to Clyde and Goldie (Feltz) McCarty.

JoAnn is survived by her son, Rick L. Horn of Fort Wayne, IN., and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Siade; daughter, Debra K. (Horn) Bollero; father, Clyde McCarty; and mother, Goldie Ritter.

JoAnn's career was a testament to her versatility and adaptability. From being a dedicated stay-at-home mom to taking on roles as a babysitter, accountant, bartender/server, and cashier.

JoAnn's vibrant personality was a source of joy for those who knew her. Her enthusiasm for life, her love, and laughter were infectious, and she had a unique gift of making everyone feel like a friend.

She was loved and will be missed by many.

Memorial services are being planned, but no date has been set. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
