Laura Henderson Obituary

Laura M. Henderson, 88, passed away on October 26, 2024, at her home in Goshen, IN. She was born on October 10, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary (Middelhoff) Rouse; two sons, David Henderson, Art Henderson; and two siblings.

Surviving are three children, Eddie (Patty) Henderson, Walter “Billy” Henderson, Christine (James) Winfrey; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Laura was a nurses aide for over 27 years at Oakmont Acres in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She enjoyed riding her bicycle, watching wrestling, comedy shows, the Impractical Jokers, and game shows. She will be remembered as being a kind person with a big heart that enjoyed helping others.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no services.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
