NILES, MI- Lawrence R. Curry, D.O., 82, passed away July 18, 2025 at Raclin House the Center for Hospice Care. He was born February 9, 1943, in Batesville, IN.

Surviving are 3 children Robert (Jaz) Curry, Teri (Stephen) Braswell, John (Carolyn) Curry, brother Danny Curry, several grandchildren and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Curry and Roberta Ramm (LaFollette).

Lawrence led a very active lifestyle. He enjoyed athletics including bicycling, tennis, basketball, jogging, skiing, and boating. He also enjoyed going to the Casino, playing cards, and attending entertainment shows. Lawrence was dedicated to his medical profession practicing medicine in the Mishawaka area for nearly 50 years. He also attended Clay High School football games acting as the teams’ doctor for 20+ years. He will be remembered for being a hardworking, ornery prankster, and his ability to live life to its fullest.

A special heartfelt thank you to Judy Calhoun for all the love, comfort, and warmth you brought him. Also, granddaughter Teresa (Sis and Jonny) Concannon for your unwavering support and assistance.

Per his wishes cremation will take place and there are no additional services planned at this time.
