Linda A Bowlin

ELKHART- Linda A. Bowlin, 59, of Elkhart, died Friday May 7, 2021 at Goshen Hospital.  She was born May 15, 1961 in Elkhart, Indiana to David A. and Shirley (Coquillard) James.

     On January 19, 1980 she married Fred W. Bowlin.  He preceded her in death on August 15, 2016.  Surviving are 3 daughters Nancy Bowlin of Elkhart, Paula Lynch of Osceola, Sara Bowlin of Madison, WI; 3 grandchildren and 7 siblings Betty James, Jana Sauers, Rick James, Jackie Wagner, Holly Dooley, Jeff Hemminger and Melissa James.  Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews, many cousins and numerous uncles and aunts.  She was preceded in death by her father, David A. James, her mother Shirley Bontrager, her husband Fred, and her stepparents.

     Linda was homemaker who enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with others.  She also liked spending time with her family and sitting in her rocking chair on her front porch.

     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will take place on May 30, 2021 at the Stable Shelter in Ox Bow Park and guest may stop by between 12:00- 2:00 PM   Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.

     Memorial contributions may be given to CAPS.
