GOSHEN – Lisa Marie Wise Potts, age 48, of Goshen passed away Saturday evening, July 4, 2020 surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on April 1, 1972 in Sturgis, MI, the daughter of the late James F. Wise and Nancy (Pfenning) Wise. Lisa attended Sturgis Public Schools and graduate in 1991.
She was involved with Girl Scouts, enjoyed reading, working in the deli at Krogers and enjoyed her son Hunter’s tae kwondo classes.
On April 22, 1995 she married Neil Potts in Sturgis, MI. Lisa is survived by her husband, Neil, and her two sons; Joshua and Hunter, daughter Ashley Fair and step-daughter Nicole Potts, three grandchildren; Damien Potts, Sopheria Potts and Charles Fair. Also surviving 2 brothers James Wise and Ricky Wise, and 2 sisters Cherrie Shultz and Dawn Hill.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Wise and grandparents Mr and Mrs. Albert Pfenning.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will no services, but a celebration of life gathering will be held on Sept. 20, 2020 at Bristol Park in Bristol, IN from 12-4 p.m.
