Lucinda M Comment

Lucinda “Cindi” Marie Comment (Borton) passed away comfortably at the tender age of 70 with end-of-life care at Goshen General Hospital on October 27th at 12:06p.m. Born on February 21st, 1955, to Sherman Richard (Dick) Borton and Bonnie Jean Borton (Patten).

She married Michael J. Woods in 1973. They had two children together, Michael J. Woods Jr. (Jennifer R. Woods) of South Bend, Indiana and Christina Louise Woods of Goshen, Indiana. Later she married the late Roland Dean Comment, which introduced a wonderful stepson Jeremy R. Comment (Fofoa Comment) and a granddaughter. Cindi had a kind spirit, a contagious laugh, and a great sense of humor. Cindi was an office manager for many years and worked hard during her career. She loved her kids, grandkids; DJ Lukowski, Alyssa (Tyler Tribble), Jennifer Woods, John Woods, Olivia Comment, Jaylah Woods, Jaxyn Woods, and a great grandson, Kaelum Tribble.

Goofing around and playing with the grandchildren brought her so much joy! Cindi also loved singing karaoke and had an immense admiration for cats. She was also especially grateful to her older sister Loretta Gregory who provided a home and care for her for the last 4 years of her life.

Elkhart Cremation Servies is entrusted with her care.
