ELKHART - Lynnette Rane Pentecost 52, entered into her heavenly Mansion April 27th 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Lynnette was born in Elkhart December 29th 1970 to Marcia (Witt) Schooly and Dennis Lynn Books sr. She was preceded in death by her father. Lynnette is survived by her mother Marcia, stepmother Wilma Books, 3 children, son Ashtin, daughters Clare and Ausha (Julius) Smythe, along with seven grandchildren, her sister Francine (Willis)Fields and brothers Thomas Books, Dennis Books jr. Kurt (Michelle) Sanders, Danny (Candy) Books, and many aunts uncles and cousins. She formally worked as a health aide & a store manager until the time of her accident. As a quadriplegic Lynnette's faith in God only became stronger. She had a contagious smile and an outgoing personality always thinking of others and doing what she could for them. Her favorite thing to do was to FaceTime every day with her grandchildren, and listen to gospel music. A celebration of her life will be at New Hope United Methodist Church Elkhart, on Saturday May 6th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the family to help cover expenses.
