Malessie Forney Obituary

ELKHART-Malessie I. Forney, 92, passed away July 7, 2020 at Riverside Village. She was born September 18, 1927 in Spindale, North Carolina to Howard & Lossie Forney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Vivianne Clay, 3 siblings, Jack Forney, Kathrine Simpson and Clara Forney.
Surviving is 1 granddaughter, Anissa Clay and 1 great-grandson, Christian Clay.
Malessie was homemaker for much of her lifetime and enjoyed being around her family. The meant the world to her and she will be remembered for that as well as being everyone’s grandma. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to Blues music.
