Maria Lynn Fox was born on September 24, 1968 in Nuremberg, Germany and left us on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Elkhart, Indiana. She was the embodiment of strength; a tireless, single mother whose dedication knew no bounds. Maria’s heart was endlessly generous, always ready to lend a hand or offer comfort to those in need. She was dedicated to her work, often the first to arrive and the last to leave, always eager to inspire and encourage coworkers to give their very best.

Maria was someone you could wholeheartedly depend on, from giving her child's friends a ride home from school to providing a helping hand with lunch, she was always present, ready, and willing to serve; she poured her heart into every moment. She loved her family and closest friends most of all, from spending entire weekends with her child and parents, to checking in on her closest friends and family day after day with genuine care and love. Her love and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her partner in crime and only child J.M., her adoring mother Janet, her devoted father Richard, her caring sister Kate (Brian), and her joyful niece and nephew Aria (Benjamin) and Nic (Anna).

We invite everyone to honor her remarkable life at her celebration of life on July 25, 2026 from 12 to 3 PM at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park at the Hofferth Shelter.
