Maxine J. BeMiller

GOSHEN-Maxine J. BeMiller, 91, passed away November 17, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born February 19, 1929 in Goshen, IN to Elmer & Mabel (Neterer) Weaver.
  On July 18, 1948 she married Delbert BeMiller; he survives along with, 1 daughter, Debbie Ramer, 2 granddaughters, Michelle (Tim) Markel and Nicole (Jason) Bailey.  Also surviving are 4 great-grandchildren, Morgan Markel, Brady Markel, Wyatt Bailey, Sophia Bailey, 2 sisters, Anna Marie (Dean) Stickel and Janice (Roger) Eby. 
  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Phyllis Sheets and a son-in-law, Dean Ramer. 
  Maxine graduated from Wakarusa High School in 1946 and was a bookkeeper for Standard Tool and Die for over 25 years.  She spent her spare time reading, bird-watching and flower gardening.  Maxine was also a member of the Searchlight Club where she liked attending their monthly meetings.    Maxine would often attend the kid’s activities from 4-H days to sporting events.  Her family was her greatest joy and she enjoyed baking lots of cookies, making meals and spending time with her family.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. 
  Per her wish’s cremation will take place and there will be no services.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
