ELKHART-Melanie “Momo” S. Holderman, 47, passed away December 29, 2021, at her home in Elkhart. She was born August 13, 1974, in Elkhart.

Surviving is her father, William (Carolyn) Holderman, 5 siblings, Dawn Laughter, Tammy Perez, Johnny Bailey, Phillip (Deanna) Holderman, and Valerie Holderman. Also surviving is her significant other, Julie Contreras, numerous nieces, and nephews and 2 stepsiblings, Laureano (Lisa) Santos and Carmen (William) Strange.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Cochrane, a daughter, McKenna Holderman, and a brother, Brian Laughter.

Momo enjoyed doing puzzles, watching track races, shopping, sewing, going to the casino, and playing bingo. She will be remembered as having a good sense of humor.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
