Michael A. Penney

Michael A. Penney, 80, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart, IN. He was born on February 13, 1945, in Oakland, CA.

On June 13, 1967, Michael married Linda Messimore; she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father, Leon Penney Sr.; mother, Reatha Daning; and two brothers, Scott and Don.

Surviving is his son, Scott Penney; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three brothers, Tony, Danny, Bob; three sisters, Sharon Smith, Shirley Whittmaker, and Susan Burns.

Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran. 

Per his wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no services.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
