Micheal S Hershberger

ELKHART-Micheal S. “Hershy” Hershberger, 57, passed away September 3, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born February 18, 1968, in Germany.

  On September 5, 2022, he married Tina Clark; she survives along with his 5 children, Amanda (Joshua Bowens) Garman, Melanie Hershberger, Ryan Hershberger, Justin Garman, Dylan Garman, 6 grandchildren, McKenna, Mason, Coltyn, Noah, McKenlee, Amya, and the mother of his children, Marie Garman. 

  He was preceded in death by his father, Freeman Hershberger, mother, Alice Applewhite, and a brother, Stephen Hershberger.

  Hershy was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven in, Pierceton, IN.  He enjoyed collecting rocks, fishing, watching NASCAR, going to the racetrack.  He was very outgoing, loved having a good time, and an example of what a true man and father should be.  His presence will be deeply missed by everyone.

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  Memorial contributions may be given to any Cancer association.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
