Micky Allen Hess

BRISTOL- Micky Allen Hess, 60, of Bristol, died Monday August 1, 2022, at his residence in Bristol.  He was born September 12, 1961, in Clinton, Indiana to Richard H. & Wanda R. (Kane) Hess.

     Surviving are 2 children, Maggie Jean Hess of South Bend, IN and Michael Curtis Hess of Bronson, MI; 6 grandchildren, Gracie Shank, Harmony Hill, Christian Hartpence, Gabriella Garrison, Joseph Garrison, Domnick Hess and 1 great-grandchild is on the way.  Also surviving are 3 siblings, Debra (Steve) Blacklaw of Bristol, Michel (Brad) Gilliland of Wolcottville, IN, Patrick (Sierra) Hess of Ft. Wayne, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Teresa Hess.

     Micky was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, canoeing, hiking, and doing crafts.  Micky was a first-class carpenter.

     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life cookout will be held on Saturday August 20, 2022, from 2-6 p.m.  Please contact his sister Debra Blacklaw for further information.

     Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Center for Hospice Care.
