Myra JoAnn Wilson

Myra JoAnn Wilson, 77, of Edwardsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Indiana.

She was born March 23, 1948, in Warsaw, Indiana to Max E Rhoades and Marjorie L (Rowland) Rhoades (deceased 1954). Max remarried in 1955 to Betty D (Kline) Rhoades.

Myra was an incredibly loving and supportive person that loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially treasured playing with her granddaughter. She was a selfless, deeply caring individual that would routinely put the needs of others first. She was a caretaker at heart, who was always there and willing to help in any way possible. Myra loved being outdoors, whether that be working in the yard or relaxing on the water. She thoroughly enjoyed being in her kitchen and making food for the ones she loved. She shared an intense love of her soulmate Denny. Her favorite place was on the loveseat snuggled next to him either crocheting, reading a book, or watching TV. Myra was the epitome of a loving mother whose value has no measure. She will be most deeply missed.

Myra is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Dennis Scott Wilson, her children Erika Darlene Stover and Judd Alan Stover, her granddaughter Parker Melissa Stover, her mother Betty Rhoades, her siblings Maria (David) Purciarele, Malcolm (Sue) Rhoades, Rick (Sandy) Rhoades, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She is preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Louise Stover, parents Max and Marjorie Rhoades, and sister Lisa Swihart.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
