ELKHART-Patricia “Pat” J. Smith, 72, passed away March 17, 2026, at her home in Elkhart. She was born May 20, 1953 in Elkhart to the late Kadir & Dolly (Mapes) Lee.
On August 26, 1977, she married Robert Smith; he survives along with 4 children, Susann (Michael) Jeffries, Stephanie Davis, John (Sarah) Smith, David Smith, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Ruth Lee.
Pat had a great sense of humor, was always the life of the party, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
