Patricia Lavine Mills

Elkhart. IN - Patricia “Pat” L. Mills, 88, passed away April 3, 2026 peacefully while surrounded by loved ones at Esther’s House, the Center for Hospice Care. She was born March 17, 1938, in Elkhart, IN to Clara Nichols and Kenneth Palmroy. Patricia spent most of her life in Indiana where she married her late husband Estle Mills. They were married for 53 years.     

 She was known for her love of cooking and bringing her family and friends together on Sunday mornings for breakfast. Some of her hobbies included puzzles, crafts, and she loved to play bingo.

Patricia is survived by her children, Kim Stewart (Debbie Rienks), Sam (Marlene) Stewart, Tina Greene, and Michelle (Mike) Fielder. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clara Nichols and Kenneth Palmroy, her husband Estle Mills, and her children Nancy Hanna, Kelly (Katherine) Stewart, and Lance Mills.

Elkhart Cremation has been entrusted with her care.
