MISHAWAKA- Patricia June Nifong, 71, of Mishawaka, died Sunday September 12, 2021, at her residence in Mishawaka. She was born July 11, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Dorothy (Smith) Volk.
On February 15, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri she married Ross R. Nifong. He survives along with 2 children, Craig (Julie Edgecomb) Nifong, Michelle “Shelli” and John A. “Drew” Gulas both of Mishawaka; 3 grandchildren, Michael Nifong, Troy Gulas, Evan Gulas; 1 great grandson Grayson Nifong; a sister, Teri (Tony) Moody of St. Louis, MO, and a niece Nikki Moody. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Betty Hrdlicka and Linda McNamee.
Patricia was formerly employed as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed watching motor sports and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and a Notre Dame football fan.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services and cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
