Paul Alan Malott

GROVERTOWN-Paul “Dudie”A. Malott, 69, passed away peacefully July 21, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.  He was born July 22, 1951 in Gary, IN to Paul & Eleanor (Sutton) Malott.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Theresa Hudson, a great-nephew, Preston Alexander Smith, a great-niece, Eden Elizabeth Smith and a sister-in-law, Cal Malott. 

  Surviving are 5 siblings, James Malott, David Malott, Mark (Penny) Malott, Victoria (George) Kruizenga, Eric (Michelle) Malott, 5 nieces, including whom he lived with, Heather (Preston) Smith, 1 nephew, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  

  Dudie worked at LTV Steel for over 30 years until his retirement in 1999.  He was very patriotic, a history buff, a devoted Cubs fan and enjoyed traveling.  Dudie had a green thumb for roses and was a talented sketch artist. 

  He will be remembered as being a very selfless individual with a kind heart, a caring spirit and an admirable devotion to his family.

  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
