PEGGY SUE CENTENO

December 23, 1972 – March 18, 2025

ELKHART- Peggy Sue Centeno, 52, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Tuesday March 18, 2025, at her residence in Elkhart.  She was born on December 23, 1972, in Elkhart, Indiana to Donald Ray & Juanita Lou (Biggs) Lee.

Surviving are 3 children, Kathy M. Hernandez, Joe Ray Hernandez, Alejandra Maria Centeno, all of Elkhart; 6 grandchildren, Scarlett, Ameriah, Amaya, Lorenzo, Cece, Ariana; her mother, Juanita L. Tucker of Elkhart and 3 sisters, her twin sister, Patty Torres of Elkhart, Donna Johnson of Mishawaka and Betty Jo Lee of Elkhart.  She was preceded in death by her father Donald Ray Lee and her stepfather, Leon Tucker.

Peggy enjoyed playing games on her cell phone and going shopping.  She loved saltwater taffy, and her favorite colors were purple and blue.  She was an animal lover, and she dearly loved her dog “Baby Girl”.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
