Polly Ann Hatler, 78, of Goshen, IN, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2024, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 15, 1946, in Goshen and attended Wakarusa High School. On March 5,1992, she married James Hatler.
Polly is survived by her husband, James; son, Ed (Amy) Wogoman; daughters, Sheri (Pete) Bolenbaugh and Linda (Keith) Kustron; grandson, Matthew (Ashley) Rogers; granddaughters, Amanda (Joseph) Goodknight, Aubrey Wogoman, Madison Smith; and seven great-grandchildren, Benedict, Oliver, Noa, Charlie, Rory, Valiah and Carter.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Robert Boswell.
Polly worked at Target for 18 years prior to retiring in February of 2020. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Her greatest source of joy was her husband, James, as well as her children and grandchildren. She also found much joy from her beagle Maggie and puggle Gracie.
There will be a Celebration of Life to celebrate and share memories of Polly on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at High Dive Park Pavilion in Elkhart from 1:00-3:00PM. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Traditions Health Hospice, who were angels in disguise as she ended her journey.
