Born in Elkhart, IN. to Ralph Andrew and Ida Martha (King) Holycross. Ralph Graduated from Elkhart High School in 1966. He was in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He married Pamela Durbin on May 12, 1979. He passed away at home unexpectedly. He worked as a welder and spent his free time working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a member of the American Legion Post # 143 in Bristol, Indiana.


He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Holycross, two sisters, Janice (James) Truex and Patricia (Mort) Tomson, six children, Matthew Holycross, Samantha (Jasen) Spice, Beth (Mark) Troyer, Amanda Holycross, Caitlin (Mark) Sims, Hannah Holycross, and JD Radcliff, 13 grandchildren, and 1 Great- granddaughter.


He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, Phyllis Hehman, Wilson Holycross, and a son-in-law Mark Troyer.


A celebration on life service will be Friday, June 13, 2025, at Brenneman Missionary Church in Goshen, IN 61115 IN-15 Goshen, IN 46528 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
