Randall Shane Kibbe, 50, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home.

Shane was born on February 8, 1976, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Dorothy Frances Weaver (Crighton) and Walter Glen Kibbe. While his father was pursuing his dream to start a business to support his family, Shane and his sister, Laura, moved all over the country together. Shane then went on to help build the family business, KibbeChem, Inc., and make it the success it is today.
Shane was a loving son to both of his parents. He was a Mama’s Boy, always known as “Monkey” to his mom. Shane supported his family and friends. You could always count on him to show up for anyone and everyone. He never met a stranger.

Shane’s pride and joy in life were his children. His greatest purpose in life was loving on his three daughters. They were his whole world. His girls were the first thing he would talk about. He woke up every day thinking of them and ended the day the same way. His whole heart was filled with love for his children.

Shane enjoyed flying airplanes. He loved Johnny Cash, movies, and arcade games. His favorite thing was driving his girls around in his collection of cars. He loved working at KibbeChem with his family while creating in the lab.

One of the best qualities about Shane was, he was a dog lover. He had a breakfast and dinner order from McDonald’s for his pets, and maybe a little beer slipped in there too. He is resting in peace with his beloved Bud and Buford. Cheech was the current four-legged friend that held his heart. The family thanks Mackenzie for taking care of his loyal companion

.
He forever was a kid at heart and was always laughing and joking around with his signature laugh. A master prankster and jokester, Shane will be remembered for his fun, loving, kind soul.
Survived by his beautiful daughters, Madison Lee Kibbe, Mia Michelle Kibbe, and Savannah Jewel Kibbe; his loyal sisters, Laura Michelle Rice (Kibbe) and Emma Nicole Kibbe. He grew up with his brother-in-law, Shannon Rice, and had him as a friend and built-in brother. He loved his cousins and all the crazy fun times they had together. He was loved by his step-siblings, Heather Prestine, Jamie Zimmerman, and Josh Weaver. His loving and supportive parents, Fran and Jim Weaver, and Glen and Pat Kibbe. Uncle to Hannah Cochran (Casey), Meghan Rice, Lukas Rice, Shawntay Knowles, Khalessi Kibbe Prince, Rhiannon Kibbe Prince, La’Khan Kibbe, his great niece, Elizabeth Cochran and great nephew, Kahner Cochran. Shane had many members of his blended family that he loved as his own blood.

Shane has family all over the map, with many members in Oklahoma, Utah, Nevada, England, and Scotland. He always strived to make everyone feel included.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Grandma Betty Jewel Kibbe, his paternal grandfather, Grandpa Walter Orville Kibbe, his maternal grandmother, Mimi, Elizabeth Joan Pickens, his Poppa, Carson Wesley Pickens, his uncle Randall Craig Kibbe, His step niece Ava Christine Zimmerman and his step grandmother, Leone Weaver.
