NEW PARIS, IN- Rebecca Sue Stokes, 49, of New Paris, Indiana, passed away Friday December 23, 2022, at her residence in New Paris, IN. She was born January 20, 1973, in Goshen, Indiana to Stephen J. & Vicki S. (Friend) Conrad.
On March 23, 2009, she married James W. Stokes. He survives along with 1 son, Tyler Conrad of New Paris, IN; her mother & stepfather, Vicki S. (Sherman) Holdread of New Paris, IN; 2 granddaughters, Harper & Maci Conrad; 1 brother, Brian Conrad of Elkhart and her stepdaughter, Ashley (Christopher) Dunn of New Haven, IN. she was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Conrad.
Rebecca was a member of the Grace Bible Baptish Church in New Paris, IN. She enjoyed crafting, loved Flamingos and was known as The Crazy Flamingo Lady. She was an assistant supervisor in the kitchen at the Heritage House in Nappanee, IN.
Cremation will take place and celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Monday January 9, 2023, at the Grace Bible Baptist Church, 68080 C.R. 23, New Paris, IN. The service will start immediately following the visitation at the church. Pastor Joel Wallenbeck will render the service.
Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
