Rex Dean Tom

Rex Dean Tom, 81, of Goshen, IN, passed away at the home he shared with his wife Paula after a long battle with cancer.

Rex was born August 14, 1944 to Alton and Hellen Tom in South bend, IN.

Rex was predeceased by his father Alton Tom, mother Hellen Tom, wife Nancy Hellen Tom, Brother Wayne Tom, Sister Rosalyn Wordinger, Brother Joe Bill Tom, sister Virginia Anne Cavinder and brother Mac Lynn Tom.

He is survived by his wife Paula Ross-Tom, son Anthony (Tiffany) Tom, daughters Martha (Chris) Harner and Tammy Germani, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Rex was an active member of the American Legion Post 143, Bristol IN. He enjoyed playing Euchre at the American Legion and at the Elks in Goshen, IN, camping and woodworking.

He and his wife attended Cornerstone Cristian Fellowship where they developed a deeper relationship with the LORD and were both baptized by Pastor Terry Miller in 2024.

A celebration of life will take place At the American Legion Post 143 in Bristol IN Sunday, November 16 at One o’clock pm.
