Rhonda K Stubbs

ELKHART-Rhonda K. Stubbs, 58, passed away March 5, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born October 4, 1966, in Lima, OH.

  Surviving are 2 children, Lauren Stubbs, Patricia (Josh) Sheffield, 2 siblings, Karen Ogle, and Wayne Sandy.  Also surviving is a niece, Anna Ogle and a nephew, Brett Sandy-Bye. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen & Verona (Jervis) Sandy, and a brother-in-law, Earl Ogle.

  Rhonda grew up in Gomer, Ohio, graduated from Elida High School in 1985, and received her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 1990.  She worked for Elkhart General Hospital (Beacon Health) for over 24 years as the medical staff coordinator. Rhonda was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church; while there she participated in many activities some of which include being a member of the trustees, and a youth group leader.  Her love for music was echoed by her being a music teacher and it was supported by her Welsh background and her faith.  She had a talent for flipping houses and in her spare time enjoyed doing crafts and sewing.  Rhonda’s positive outlook, sense of humor and strong faith will be something that her family and friends will remember. 

  Per her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Cavalry United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m.  Pastor Amanda Moseng will be presiding over the services. 

  Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary United Methodist Church to help fund their food program.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her arrangements.
