Richard Lon Francis

Bristol, Indiana – Richard (Rick) Lon Francis 73 passed away at Esther’s Hospice House in Elkhart, Indiana. He was born June 1, 1951 in Pikeville, Kentucky.

He was preceded by the Love of his Life Bonnie Jeanette McCallister 2021. Mother - Beatrice Johnson-Francis 1982. Father- John Ell Francis 1966. Brothers – Sonny Francis and Don Francis. Sisters – Evon, Gladys Carol (Rusty) Looy 1923(Pate Looy).

Richard (Rick) Francis Loved spending time with his Family and Friends at Cookouts and Holidays. He loved going fishing with his family and his best friend, David Converse. He leaves behind his dog, Bubba that he enjoyed spending time with.

On the Summer of 1976 he met the Love of his Life Bonnie Jeanette McCallister -1921, and her three children. Richard (Rick) Francis helped raise and became their father.

Survived by; Son – Brian (Agatha) McCallister and granddaughter Zoe McCallister,

Daughter – Tina “Mechelle” (Rodney) Jarnagin and two granddaughters Savannah Jarnagin, and Miranda Jarnagin, and two Step granddaughters Tiffany (Casey) Parker, and step great granddaughters Haley Parker, and step great grandson Blake Parker. Also step granddaughter Brittany (Matt) Duffee, step great granddaughter Madison Duffee, and step great grandson Ethan Duffee.

Son – Kevin (Joy) McCallister, and two grandsons Kamen (Deserae Adams) McCallister and great grandson Kaicen McCallister. And Grandson Bryce McCallister.

Niece - Barbara Llody, great niece Jessica (Andrew) Nolan.

Niece - Stephanie (Kevin) Miller, two great nieces Kristin Brandon (Brandon Davis), great niece Brooklynn Davis, great nephew Leighton Davis, great niece Samantha Llody.

Nephew - John (Tammy) Maynard.
