Obituary
ELKHART-Rickie R. Comstock, 74, passed away March 19, 2023, at IU Health Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born October 15, 1948, in Goshen, IN to Earl & Gloria (Cranson) Comstock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Carolyn Comstock, and a sister, Renee Ulch.
Surviving is his wife, Hilda Comstock, 4 children, Chris Weisser, Lisa Comstock, Troy (Paige) Comstock, Kari (Dale) Wing, 3 stepchildren, Billy Montgomery, Tony Montgomery, and Belinda (John) Garrett. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 2 siblings, Darlene (Harry) Petrat and Steven Comstock.
Rickie graduated from Goshen High School, was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Bristol American Legion and the Elkhart D.A.V. He enjoyed fishing, driving his pontoon, going on day trips in his beloved Mustang with his wife, barbequing, and smoking on the grill. Most important to him was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren making memories.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to IU Health Hospice.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
