Robert William Leighton Sr

Robert William Leighton Sr. 82 of Jones, MI passed away Saturday 9/16/2023 at his home. He was born in Worcester, MA on June 22,1941.

He married his wife Linda of 39 years on January 20,1984. A life well lived. An avid Red Sox fan, bowler and lottery player. He loved camping and traveling.

He worked at Elkhart Products in various positions, retiring after 30 years.

He is survived by his Children: Deborah A. Cushing (John ) of Palm Bay, FL, Cynthia L. Clay (Craig) of Elkhart, IN, Robert W. Leighton Jr. of Osceola, IN, Susan E. Waschen, (Mike) of West End, NC, Marc E. Leighton, of Orlando, FL, William B. Leighton, (Teresa), of Granger, IN, Linda M., Federspiel , (Paul) of Warsaw, IN, Tanya Schieber (Jason) of Elkhart, IN, 

Stepchildren: Lyle Becker, Joseph Becker, Steven Leighton, and Lisa Becker along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by siblings: Thomas “Gary” (Janice) Edwardsburg, MI, Donald of Dandridge, TN, Terry (Kathleen) Renner, of Modesto, CA, Rita, (Lloyd) Frank, Edwardsburg, MI. Also surviving a loving Great Aunt Elsie Talbot of Worcester, MA 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years Linda. Parents Harold F. and Pearl G. (Lesperance), Leighton of Worcester, MA Siblings: Harold, Earl, Danny, Joseph, Dewayne Leighton and Carol Williams
