Robert Maggert Obituary
ELKHART-Robert J. Maggert, 80, passed away July 26, 2021 at his home in Elkhart. He was born May 22, 1941 in Elkhart to Dewy & Myrtle (Steele) Maggert.
On February 17, 1959 he married Linda Pennington; she survives along with 3 children, John Maggert, Rita (Andy Johnson) Spelts, Sharon (Jeff) Bollinger, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Geraldine Schlabach and Jeanette Tilford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Helen Russell, Betty Cooper, Beatrice Tilford and 1 brother, William Maggert.
Robert was employed at CTS for over 45 years until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee, mushroom hunting and watching NASCAR.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be given to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
