Robert Rose Obituary
BRISTOL-Robert “Bob” L. Rose, 85, passed away January 5, 2022, at Center for Hospice Care-Raclin House in Mishawaka. He was born May 7, 1936, in Garrettsville, OH.
On September 14, 1998, he married Sandy Cook; she survives along with 5 children, Cheri Rose, Jason (Annie) Rose, Michael Martin, Troy Minegar, Amber Carmichael, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a sister, Darleen Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Yonker, and a son, Jim Rose.
Bob was a proud U.S. Marine, serving his country for a total of 25 years. He was a member of the D.A.V. #19, American Legion Post #143, Cass County Conservation Club, and the Marine Corp League. He enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals, traveling, and camping. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to any veteran service organization.
