Roberta Smith Obituary

ELKHART-Roberta L. Smith, 66, passed away November 20, 2020 at her home in Elkhart surrounded by her family. She was born September 20, 1954 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Lester & Betty (Branstrator) Lambert.
On August 22, 1972 she married Dennis W. Smith; he preceded her in death on February 10, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
Surviving are 5 children, Denise (Steven) Obert, Dennis (Stacy) Smith, Timothy (Nikki) Smith, Amanda (James) Richardson, Travis (Lisa) Smith, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 5 siblings, her companion, Jeff Anderson and numerous other family members.
Roberta enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a strong person and caregiver to all.
A private celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
