Roger Calhoun

ELKHART- On September 15th, 2021, Roger Calhoun, age 85, passed away peacefully in his home. He was born September 21, 1935, to Fannie and Oscar Calhoun in Elizabethton, Tennessee.

He was a handy man; the man to go to when your car wasn't running right, or when your part change needed a good oil. He was always tinkering around in his garage. Whether working on an old lawnmower or fixing up bikes to resell. If you couldn't find him in his garage he was usually out in his wife's garden. He brought her visions to life, creating ponds, planning power beds, and building everything she ever imagined. Although Roger was a man of few words conversations with him always left you feeling important. Is kindness and quick wit left everyone smiling.

Roger adored and spent most of his time with his beloved family, including his late wife Sandra (Sandy) Calhoun, his four children: Julie Floyd, Roger Calhoun Jr., Lisa Reames, and Jennifer Grey, and his handful of grandchildren (10) and great grandchildren (14).
